Australian custom motorcycle company Deus Ex Machina offers this beauty as just one of their many custom designs.
Deus (pronounced “day-us) Ex Machina is a latin term that translates into “god from the machine”. The company became noticed in 2006 but I stumbled upon them thanks to a link from Josh’s tumblr. I can’t sum up their philosophy better than they stated it, so I’ll quote this from their About page: “The Deus philosophy recalls an era before the various pursuits of fun – motorcycling, surfing, skateboarding, whatever – were marketed into fundamentalist factions. All are welcomed under the Deus roof, where there’s simply respect for the honesty and enjoyment of the machine. Inclusiveness, authenticity, enthusiasm. It’s a simple and sincere pitch that has winged Deus ex Machina across the world. Deus ex Machina says simply there’s no ‘right way’ to do individualism, its all the same juice.”
Now I’m a big motorcycle guy myself and this Triumph Bonneville is absolutely gorgeous. The stripped down the frame, spruced it up with some black powder coat, did some subframe mods, took away the air box, and threw on a 2 to 1 custom exhaust pipe. The dirt tracker vibe is evident and well appreciated.
You can custom order one trough their website.
